PA College of Engineering and Technology (PACET) was established in the year 1999 in Pollachi, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The college is affiliated to Anna University.
PACET Coimbatore offers UG (B.E./B.Tech), PG (M.E.) and Ph.D. courses in varied streams of Engineering and Computer Sciences. B.E. /B.Tech course is available in 5 streams with 120 seats each. However, the Mechanical Engineering and Electrical & Electronics streams have an intake of only 60 seats in each.
M.E. is offered in Computer Sciences and Engineering, VLSI Design and Power Electronics and Drive with 24 seats, 24 seats and 18 seats respectively.

PACET Coimbatore B.E./B.Tech Admission 2023
PACET offers B.E./B.Tech in 5 streams. The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for B.E./B.Tech is to have a score of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 10+2. In addition to this, candidates who fulfill the specified requirements of TNEA are eligible to apply for admission in Bachelors of Engineering and Technology.
The selection of the candidates for B.E./B.Tech is solely based on merit and counselling for TNEA.

Key points:
- The candidates who wish to take direct admission in B.E. 2nd year must have a recognized Bachelor's Degree in Science of minimum 3 years duration with Mathematics as a subject.
- The minimum age to apply for under-graduate course in 17 years.
- Candidates who have done their 8th to 12th standard study from Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply for TNEA. They need not provide the residential/ native certificate for the same.
- Wards of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are also eligible to apply for TNEA.
PACET Coimbatore M.E. Admission 2023
The college offers M.E. with specialization in 3 disciplines including Computer Sciences and Engineering, VLSI Design and Power Electronics and Drive.
The eligibility criteria to take admission in M.E. is to possess a B.E. degree or a degree in related/ relevant course with 50% marks. Selection is based on the performance in TANCET.
TANCET is conducted by Anna University for admission in MBA/M.Tech/M.Arch/MCA/M.Plan courses in various institutes in Tamil Nadu.

PA College of Engineering and Technology offers Ph.D. courses in two disciplines; Computer Science & Engineering and Electrical & Electronic Engineering. The basic criteria for admission are to have a minimum of 60% marks in Master’s degree in the relevant field.
The admission in the Ph.D. course is based on Merit and subject to seat availability.

PACET Coimbatore Application Process 2023
PA College of Engineering and Technology offers both online and offline mode of application processing. For TNEA candidates, the application/ registration forms are available online at the official website of TNEA.
A proper announcement will be made by the college, after which the application forms will be released both online as well as offline. The candidates must visit the official notice on the college website to download the application form. They can also get the application form manually from the college.

PACET Coimbatore Reservation Criteria 2023
The reservation for SC/ ST/ OBC and other categories is done on the basis of the regulation of State Government. This includes preferences for local candidates, wards of ex-servicemen or govt. officials, 36% reservation for women candidates. In addition to this, the reserved categories also get a relaxation of 5% to 10% in the aggregated score as well.
