NITIE Mumbai PGDIE/ PGDIM/ PGDSM Admission 2023
To be eligible for admission into the PGDIE/ PGDIM/ PGDSM the candidates must fulfill the following requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology with a minimum aggregate of 60% (relaxable by 5% for SC/ ST/PWD candidates).
- Entrance Exam: The PGDIE candidates will have to take the GATE exam conducted by IITs and the PGDIM/ PGDSM candidates will have to take the CAT exam conducted by IIMs.

NITIE Mumbai FPM Selection Criteria
The candidates will be shortlisted based on their Research Proposal. The shortlisted candidates will be called for NITIE Admission Test, Writing Skills test, research Presentation, and Personal Interview at NITIE Mumbai.
- NITIE Admission Test and Written Skills Test: NITIE Admission test will have 3 sections: Analytical Skills, Logical Reasoning, and Research Aptitude. In the Writing Skill test, the candidates will have to write a 150 - 200 summary of Research or a General article.
- Research Presentation and Personal Interview: The research presentation will be based on the research proposal submitted by the candidate, and it will be followed by a personal interview. The personal interview will evaluate the candidate’s subject knowledge, communication skills, motivation to do research, and overall assessment.
The final merit list will be prepared based on the performance of the candidates in various components like the NITIE Admission test, a Writing skills test, past Academic achievements, Research presentation, and Personal interview.
