The minimum eligibility criterion for admission to BE is minimum 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English in 10+2. The minimum age to apply for undergraduate courses is 17 years. Candidates seeking admission to second year of B.E. should have passed the three-year Diploma course conducted by the Board of Technical Examination of Karnataka Government in the relevant subjects or any other examination recognized by the VTU as equivalent thereto.
In addition to undergraduate programs, MS Engineering College (MSEC) also offers postgraduate programs viz. M.Tech and MCA. The minimum eligibility criterion for admission to PG courses is the candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in relevant subjects with minimum 50% marks.
