About MSEC

M. S. Engineering College (MSEC) was established in 2002 under the M. S. Educational Trust by Sri K. Muniswamy Raju, the founder President of the trust and Mr. Sudarshan Raju, the secretary of the trust. It offers UG courses in CSE, ECE, AI&ML, ME and Civil Engineering, PG courses in M. Tech-VLSI and Embedded Systems, Computer Science and Engineering and Machine Design. MSEC also offers Ph.D. programs in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. All the courses are approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to VTU, Belagavi, Karnataka. The college is NAAC accredited, ISO 9001:2015 Certified, adopted an outcome-based education system and implemented NEP 2020. MSEC ranks in top 100 engineering college by Higher education review 2023.

Admission is done on the merit-based and cutoff criteria of the institute.

Over the past 20 years, MSEC has grown into an institution of significance and is one of the leading institutions in the country in technical education by providing lab facilities and collaboration with leading industries and research organizations, providing an appropriate platform to the students for a real-time experience.

MSEC has received more than 2 crores of funding from DST, IEDC, VGST, AICTE and other leading MNCs in the establishment of a center of excellence and imbibing industrial culture among students. More than 6 companies are incubated on campus, exposure to the advanced software and hardware modules, more than 15 patents, India’s first VLSI design software, India’s first real time virtual lab and nanocym software were developed at MSEC. The institute is accelerating its process to excel in the innovation and entrepreneurship journey, able to house 25 startups with a seed fund of 2 lakhs and provide resources for students to become successful entrepreneurs. In the R&D segment, to take up studies on cyber security, high-performance computing, electric vehicles, aerospace, and generative AI for manufacturing and digital manufacturing that will benefit the student’s community.

MSEC has set record when comes to its placement statistics. The highest package offered was INR 26 LPA by Google. M.S. Engineering College Facilities

Library: The college library is a gateway to a world of Information. The Staff and students have unlimited access to a wealth of Information found in resources like books, magazines, Journals, Hand Books, Annual reports and the Internet. In addition, the library offers spacious seating arrangements and a calm ambiance for learning.

In addition to the regular buses, one shuttle service bus has been provided from Sadahalli Gate to College and back, free of cost to help the students to reach on time.

The minimum eligibility should be completed 10+2 with specified subjects with minimum marks that should be 65% aggregate. it also provides scholarships for students for the highest score. the faculties should be improved.
