Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Computer Science and Engineering) From LIT, Chennai

At the UG level, BE is offered in the following six specializations:

1. Computer science and Engineering
2. Mechanical Engineering
3. Civil Engineering
4. Electrical and Electronic Engineering
5. Electronics and Communication Engineering
6. Information Technology

Eligibility:

The selection of the candidates is based on merit in the qualifying examination and counselling conducted by the Anna University.

Selection Process:

The minimum eligibility requirements for BE are passed in 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects and score at least 50% marks.

Key Points:

• The minimum qualifying percentage for BC/BM candidates is 45% and MBC and DNC/SC/ST/SCA is 40%.
• Candidates who have passed the higher secondary examinations of the vocational stream are also eligible for admission in BE program.
