SSVPS's Bapusaheb Shivajirao Deore College of Engineering Dhule Admission 2024: Fees Structure, Entrance Exam, Admit Card

SSVPS’s Bapusaheb Shivajirao Deore College of Engineering offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree programs in four different specializations. The duration of all the B.Tech courses is four years. The total number of seats allocated for the B.Tech program is 360.

Admission to the B.Tech program is done on the basis of merit of candidates in State level Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test (MHT - CET) conducted by the government of Maharashtra.  Admission is also done through National level Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Final selection will be done through CAP (Central Admission Process) Rounds which will be conducted by the Government of Maharashtra.

Additionally, candidates aspiring to take admission in the B.Tech program must have passed the 10+2 level examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate to be considered eligible for admission.

The institute has a provision for B.Tech Lateral entry which it provides to its students for a duration of three years. For Lateral entry, aspiring candidates must hold a Diploma in Engineering in a relevant discipline of Engineering or Technology with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Key Points to remember for Admission in B.Tech & B.Tech Lateral:

• Minimum marks required in the qualifying examination is 50%.
• 5% relaxation of marks in the eligibility criteria is given to candidates belonging to Backward class categories, and Person with Disability candidates belonging from the State of Maharashtra only.
• Seats are reserved by the institute for All India Candidates, Maharashtra State candidates and Jammu and Kashmir Migrant candidates.
• Seats are also reserved for NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries and Foreign National candidates.

SSVPS’s Bapusaheb Shivajirao Deore College of Engineering offers Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree program specializing in two domains. The duration of both the M.Tech courses is two years each. The total number of seats allocated for the M.Tech program is 36.

Admission to the M.Tech program is done on the basis of merit in National level Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) exam conducted jointly by Indian Institute of Science (IISC) and Indian Institute of Technology (IITs).

Aspiring candidates, however, must hold a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in relevant discipline of engineering to be considered eligible for admission.

Key Points to remember for Admission in M.Tech:

• Minimum marks required in the qualifying examination is 50%.
• 5% relaxation of marks in the eligibility criteria is given to candidates belonging to Backward class categories, and Person with Disability candidates belonging from the State of Maharashtra only.
• Candidates must obtain a valid GATE scorecard to secure admission.

In addition to the M.Tech program, SSVPS’S Bapusaheb Shivajirao Deore College of Engineering offers Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at the postgraduate level for a duration of two years. The total number of seats allocated for the MBA program is 60.

Admission to the MBA program is done on the basis of merit in state level examination MAH-MBA-CET conducted by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra.

Admission is also done on the basis of merit in National level Common Entrance Examinations like CAT, MAT / XAT / GMAT/ ATMA. Candidates must hold a valid score in either one of these above-mentioned examinations to be considered eligible for admission.

Alongside securing a valid score in either one of the above mentioned entrance examinations aspiring candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
