Karpagam Institute of Technology BE Admission 2023
Karpagam Institute of Technology offers full-time BE course of 4-year duration in 5 disciplines. Admissions to BE program offered by KIT are done on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, reduced to 200, where 100 marks will be allotted to Mathematics and 100 for the other two subjects.
The admission will be done through counselling process conducted by the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA). Eligible candidates can apply through the official TNEA website and the expected date for the announcement of rank list is June 22.

Candidates should have passed higher secondary exam with Physics, Chemistry and mathematics as compulsory subjects and at least 50% average marks put together of all three subjects.
- Children of Central Government employees will also be eligible for admissions provided their parents have been serving in Tamil Nadu for past 5 years.
- Children of All India Service Tamil Nadu Cadre officers are eligible to apply.
- Non-residents of the state who have completed their 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th from Tamil Nadu will be eligible to apply for admissions without having to enclose their nativity certificate.
- Candidates will have to attend TANCA process for verification of documents, seat allotment and confirmation of admission process.

- For applying to TNEA, candidates need to click on the “register” tab on the home page of the official website.
- Upon successful registration, applicants must fill in all the personal details along with the academic qualification details.
- Then, candidates must proceed to pay the fee and submit the application.
- Application fee for BE is INR 300 for unreserved categories.
- Application fees can be paid through Credit/ Debit cards or Net Banking.
- Attach the self-attested copies of the following documents along with the hard copy of the duly filled in form:
- Class 10th mark sheet
- Class 12th mark sheet
- Transfer certificate issued by school
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Nativity certificate
- Relevant certificates for the children of Ex servicemen/ freedom fighters.
