KCE B.Tech Artificial Intelligence & Data Science: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

At the beginning of 2025, there was a significant staff change in the department, with the head and all but one faculty member leaving. The new team, including the head, was recruited from other areas within the institution. Placement training starts in the third year, particularly in the 5th semester, and students can participate in placement drives from the 6th semester. Most students secure placements by the 7th semester, as only a few startups offer opportunities afterward. It is recommended to secure a job by the 6th or 7th semester. The total course fee is 140,000, to be paid in one installment, unless a special arrangement is made with the approval of a tutor, the HOD, dean, and principal to pay semester-wise. Hostel accommodation costs about 80,000, but the food quality is subpar, so becoming a day scholar might be a better option.
