Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil College of Engineering (KBPCOES) was established in 1983. The college is located in Satara in the state of Maharashtra.
It is affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur. KBPCOES offers B.E degree at the undergraduate level in 5 disciplines and M.E degree at postgraduate level in 2 disciplines.
- Candidates should have passed 10+2 from any recognized institution in order to be eligible for BE course.

KBPCOES B.E Admission 2023
Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil College offers B.E degree in 5 specializations. The minimum eligibility is 50% in 10+2 with PCM subjects for admission.
Admissions are based on MHT CET score of candidates. Admissions are also granted on the basis of JEE Main score card, particularly to the other state candidates.

KBPCOES M.E Admission 2023
The college offers M.E degree course in 2 specializations. Candidates applying for ME must possess a B. Tech/BE degree with at least 50% marks to be eligible for admission.
Selection of candidates to ME course will be done on the basis of a valid GATE score. Selection to the M.E program is provided through Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by DTE, Maharashtra.

Key points:
- 20% of the total seats are filled by the college itself, rest 80% of the seats are allotted through CAP conducted by DTE.
- Candidates applying should at least have a positive score in GATE.
- For candidates belonging to SC/ST category. eligibility criteria are relaxed by 5%.
KBPCOES Application Process
For B.E:
MHT CET or JEE Main qualified candidates have to get registered at the official website of DTE Maharashtra as per schedule and fill the Online Application Form. The fee for the application form is INR 800 for General candidates of Maharashtra and other states, and INR 600 for reserved category students.
Those who have already registered for MHT CET are not required to pay any fees for the registration process for admission.
Candidates seeking admission on the basis of JEE Main score card and have not registered for MHT CET are not exempted from paying fees. The fee is to be paid through Online mode only.
For ME:
Once the schedule of CAP is declared by DTE on its website, applicants are required to collect application kit from their nearest Facilitation Centre notified by DTE. Facilitation centers are spread all across Maharashtra.
The application kit consists of username and password for filling of application forms. Forms are filled online only. After form filling, candidates are required to submit in person a printed copy along with testimonials.
The online application will get approved only after applicants submit a hard copy of the form with relevant documents.

Of the total number of seats in the college, 85% seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the state of Maharashtra.
