• If you want to go for CSE, choose IEM Kolkata. They have the best curriculum for this. Also, they have highly educated professors and better placements.
• If you want to pursue EEE, go for NIT Sikkim. Also, if your dream is to get a government job or PSU job after your graduation then you must opt for NIT Sikkim, being a government college, it will always provide you a preference over other privates colleges.

In the end, it all comes down to the branch you have an interest in. Choose wisely between these two options.

If you get a chance to join top institutes, do your research and opt for the very best. You will be the one to spend 4 years learning that particular subject. In this case, both IIIT Nagpur and IEM Kolkata are good colleges.

Having known people studying in both IIIT Nagpur and IEM, I can say that IIIT Nagpur was recently established whereas IEM is quite older and has enough experience as an educational institution.

• It won’t be reliable to take admission in IIIT Nagpur as it is new. Though it possesses a good faculty and placement record.
• You can take CS at IEM confidently as the faculty is well experienced and possess relevant qualifications.
• Besides, IEM is situated in one of the biggest IT hubs of east India.
• Mostly all IT companies near the college visit the campus for recruiting and conduct industry visits.

It all depends upon your choice at last. Otherwise, if you feel and want to go for the IIIT tag it’s completely your choice. In the case of IEM Kolkata as it is well established and has a good report and you can go for it without any second thought.
