HIMT Chennai B.Tech. Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech.- Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Maths (PCM), and English as subjects with 60% marks in PCM and at least 50% marks in English.

B.Tech. (Lateral Entry)- Candidates must have Diploma in Mechanical/Marine Engineering (completed within 3 years from joining) from AICTE approved colleges with minimum 60% of aggregate marks and must have passed English with at least 50% marks in either 10th or 12th standard

HIMT Chennai B.Tech. Selection Criteria

Selection is done on the basis of IMU-CET Scores. Candidates who will clear the entrance test are called upon for Psychometric Test, Medical Examination followed by Panel Interview and Pre-Sea Training.
