HMRITM Admission 2023: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Selection Criteria

HMRITM offers B.Tech in 5 specializations. There is also an option of B.Tech Lateral Entry for Diploma holders.

Candidates applying for B.Tech must have passed HSC in PCM with atleast 55% marks. Candidate must additionally have passed English as a subject of study (core/ elective/ functional) in the qualifying examination.

Candidates willing to take admission to lateral entry should have a three-year Diploma in any of the branches of Engg./Technology with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate from any recognized Diploma awarding institute/university/board recognized by AICTE.

The admissions to both full-time and lateral entry courses are based on the merit / rank in IPU CET.It is the common entrance test conducted by IP university.

Important points:

• Candidates with Diploma in Architecture are not eligible for lateral entry to Engineering/Technology degree program.
• For B.Tech, the candidates’ age should not be more than 21 years.
• As per the university norms, 10% of the seats in each course are filled by the management quota on merit basis.
• 15% seats are reserved for Outside Delhi Region Candidates, i.e. those who have passed the qualifying examination from any school/ Institute located outside Delhi.

The institute offers MCA and MBA as postgraduate courses with a lateral entry option in MCA. MBA is offered in 3 specializations. Candidates applying for the courses must have a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate to be eligible for admission.

The admissions to both full-time and lateral entry courses would be based on the merit / rank in IPU CET.

Note:

• Candidates who have passed the final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or England, the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India or England or the Institute of Company Secretaries of India are also eligible for MBA course.
• For MBA and MCA courses, the applicants should not be more than 35 years of age.
