Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology B.Tech Admission 2023
GTBIT offers regular Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.Tech) in Electronics & Communications, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical & Electronics. Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible for admission to B.Tech course.
Applicants have to appear in the CET (Common Entrance Test) conducted by the University. The admissions would be based on the merit/rank in the CET. For lateral entry, candidate must have passed 3-year diploma in Engineering and Technology with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate from any recognised board.

Admissions in GTBIT are made strictly on the basis of merit in IPU-CET. Only those candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria fixed by the University are admitted. Candidates have to undergo the following admission process to get admitted to the college:
- Visit the official website of IPU.
- Candidates have to register by creating a log-in ID and password for filling the Application forms for CET.
- After filling the application form, pay the prescribed fee through online payment gateway.
- After the application is submitted, if there is any mistake then the applicant must submit an application in physical form (together with applicable processing fees of INR 500) to:
