Govind Ballabh Pant Engineering College - [GBPEC], Garhwal

Govind Ballabh Pant Engineering College was established in 1989. It is located about 11 km from Pauri, the District headquarters and is about 33 km from Dev Prayag.  The college is financed by the government of Uttrakhand and it is managed by the Ministry of Technical Education.

• The college is located in the Garhwal Himalayas at an height of 1800m(7000 ft.) above sea level
• The infrastructure of the college is spread over an area of 169 acres

• Goonj- The three days cultural fest which has more than 50 events including dance, arts, music and dance events
• Josh- Sports play an integral role in overall development of students. Keeping this in mind GBEPC organizes an annual sports event JOSH for which students eagerly wait. Students participate actively in sports activities during the event. JOSH consists of athletics-various races, shot-put, javelin, high  jump, long jump and sports-cricket, football, volleyball, badminton
