Government Engineering College (ECB) Bikaner Admission 2024: Placement, Admit Card, Recruitment

At the undergraduate level, Government Engineering College (ECB) Bikaner offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree program under seven different specializations of Engineering.

The minimum academic qualification for admission to B.Tech./B.E. program in Rajasthan is a pass with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to “SC/ST/Non creamy layer OBC/ Non creamy layer SBC” of Rajasthan State) with Physics and Maths and one subject from Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science/ Technical Vocational Subjects from a recognized board / university.

Admission to the B.Tech program is done either through JEE Main or 12th class merit. Candidates are required to fill the online application form for Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) admission. REAP application form is available from 15th May to 15th June through online mode.

• Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 01 October, 1992 are eligible to apply.
• Relaxation of 5 years will be provided in the upper age limit of SC/ST/PwD candidates i.e., they must born on or after 01 October, 1987.
• Date of Birth mentioned in secondary education mark sheet/certificate will be taken into consideration.

In addition to the B.Tech program, ECB Bikaner also offers a three-year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree program and a three-year Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) program at the undergraduate level.

Admission in the BBA program is done on the basis of marks scored in 10+2 level or equivalent in the relevant subjects with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate. Candidates belonging to SC / ST categories need to score minimum pass marks to be eligible for admission.

Candidates seeking admission in the BCA program must have passed 10+2 level examination or equivalent examination with English and Mathematics / Computer Science/Computer Application / Information Practices/Statistics as subjects in the qualifying examination with at least 48% marks in aggregate. Candidates belonging to SC / ST categories need to score minimum pass marks to be eligible for admission.

Admission to the BBA and BCA programs are strictly done on the basis of merit in the last qualifying examination.

At the postgraduate level, ECB Bikaner offers Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Application (MCA) degree programs to the aspiring candidates.

To be eligible for the MCA program, candidates need to hold a graduation degree along with Mathematics in 10+2 level. Candidates holding a BCA degree are also considered eligible for the MCA program. Candidates who have secured minimum marks in Graduation level examination are eligible to apply for the MBA program.

Admission to the MCA and MBA programs are purely based on merit in the last qualifying examination.

At the postgraduate level, ECB Bikaner also offers Master of Technology (M.Tech) and Master of Science (M.Sc) degree program to the aspiring candidates. The M.Tech program is offered under three different specialization subjects.

To be considered eligible for the M.Tech program, a candidate needs to hold a B.Tech./ B.E. or equivalent degree in concerned branch with minimum required marks from any recognized University. For the M.Sc program, a candidate needs to hold a Graduation degree in the relevant discipline.

The admission are made strictly as per the guidelines of CAM (Centralized Admission in M.Tech.), Rajasthan Technical University. Candidates having valid GATE score will be given preference.

Admission to the M.Sc program is done on the basis of merit in the last qualifying examination.
