GMIT Davanagere B.Tech Degree and Diploma Admission 2023
GMIT offers B.Tech in six specializations and Diploma course in Engineering. Admissions to B.Tech are conducted on merit/rank scored in Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) or COMEDK counselling for which candidates have to appear for UGET conducted by the competent authority.
KCET is organized by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) to provide admission in undergraduate engineering courses offered in various government, private aided and private institutions.

- KEA conducts counselling for admissions in both offline and online mode. Candidates need to register and get their documents verified at the designated Helpline Centers (the details of which will be provided on the official website) within the stipulated time period.
- COMEDK scores/ranks are announced after which centralized counselling process is conducted for admissions in participating institutions.
- Candidates need to register for counselling followed by choice filling, seat locking, mock allotment, seat allotment, verification of documents and issue of allotment letter.
- In the case of Diploma course in Engineering, the minimum eligibility is S.S.L.C./S.S.C. or pass in any other equivalent examination recognized by Karnataka Secondary Board, Bangalore.

GM Institute of Technology offers two-year degree courses of MBA in three specializations and M.Tech in three specializations.
For MBA candidates can apply on the basis of their PGCET score or any of three management tests: KMAT/CAT/MAT. Those who are seeking admissions in M.Tech must have valid PGCET or GATE score.
Candidates applying for M.Tech admissions through PGCET need to bachelor’s degree in engineering with minimum 50% marks in all the years. MBA Applicants should have passed graduation in any discipline from any recognized university while scoring minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

- Admissions are conducted under government and management quota. For government seats candidates can apply on the basis PGET conducted by KEA.
