The institution was established with the vision of developing technical and management savvy human resources for meeting the requirements of diverse sectors of the economy, both Indian and global. The institute has collaborated with Robotic National Instrument, USA. It is approved by AICTE and is affiliated to UPTU. The institute was ranked in 5th position in Lucknow in 2013-14.
