What's New in EWIT?
East West Institute of Technology accepts BTech admissions based on COMEDK- UGET 2024/ KCET Score followed by centralized counselling. The application process for COMEDK- UGET 2024 will start from February 01 and the entrance test is scheduled on May 12, 2024. KCET applications will also start from January 10, 2024 and the entrance exam will be conducted on April 20 & 21, 2024 in offline pen & paper mode
The college offers undergraduate courses in B.E and post graduate courses in MBA, MCA and M.E programs. At the research level, East West Institute of Technology offers Ph.D. degree.
- Admission to all UG and PG courses are done either on the basis of state/national level entrance tests or through management entrance test conducted by the college.
- For B.E.the minimum eligibility required is, candidate must have passed 10+2 with at least 45% marks.
- The admission to B.E program is based on marks secured in KCET and COMEDK UGET.
- For M.E., the minimum eligibility is that candidate must have obtained B.E. degree with at least 50% marks
- The selection to M.E is based on GATE/Karnataka PGCET scores.
- MBA selection is done on the scores of KPGCET, Management and KMAT respectively.
- Selection to MCA is done on the basis of KPGCET and Management.
- Those interested in applying for Ph.D. must appear in the entrance exam conducted by Visvesvaraya Technological University.
- The college follows the offline mode of application process.
East West Institute of Technology was established in 2001 with the prime objective to serve the Best Quality Technical and Management Education. The college is located at Bharatnagar, off Magadi Road, Bangalore sprawling in 20 acres serene landscape.

EWIT Bangalore B.E Eligibility
The academic eligibility for admission is to pass in PUC or 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and minimum 45% marks from a recognized board.
EWIT Bangalore Selection Criteria
The selection of candidates is strictly done on the basis of the KCET/ COMEDK UGET/ Management Test.
- 45% of the total B.E seats are filled through KEA counselling,
- 30% of the seats by COMEDK counselling while the remaining 25% are Management seats to be filled through separate entrance test.
- Candidates who are a domicile of Karnataka for more than 7 years are eligible to apply as per KCET eligibility norms.
- COMEDK UGET exam is conducted for Karnataka and other states candidates.

Following are the points covering the eligibility criteria of Ph.D. offered by EWIT, Bangalore:
- Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology with a CGPA of 6.75 out of 10 or 55% in aggregate at the bachelor’s level or master’s level.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering/Technology or M.Sc. in Engineering with a CGPA of 7.75 out of 10 or minimum 70% in aggregate at bachelor’s level and have published research papers in journals or has patents to his/her name.
- M. Tech. degree while having successfully completed course work in first three semesters of study with a CGPA of 7.75 out of 10 or 70% marks in aggregate
