The college admission is conducted through the CAP round by the DTE Maharashtra board, with notifications usually out in July. Admissions are department-specific and managed efficiently with cooperative administration. The faculty comprises MTech and PhD holders, though there are concerns about their English proficiency, impacting the delivery of subject knowledge. The admission fee for the 2012 batch was approximately 78,000-82,000 INR for open category students and 7,000-8,000 INR for those under the TFWS quota. Currently, fees have increased to about 1 lakh INR per student. Despite good infrastructure, faculty quality and placement opportunities do not match the high fees. The college offers In-plant training during the 6th and 8th semesters, lasting six months each, which students can secure through the college or personal contacts. The placement cell provides assistance, but participation from core companies is limited, resulting in a lower placement rate than other colleges. However, the Head of Department supports students' training efforts, particularly in securing positions with preferred companies. The college provides a TFWS scholarship program and education loans from national banks to aid students financially.
