Chettinad College of Engineering & Technology BTech admission 2024 is done through the TNEA exam. The TNEA tentative exam 2024 dates have been announced. The start date of the online TNEA registration is May 4, 2024. The last date of registration for the same is June 4, 2024. Candidates can apply for TNEA through its official website.
Chettinad College of Engineering & Technology, Karur was established in 2007 and is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The institute offers BE, ME and MBA courses with an annual intake of 438 students.
All the courses are offered by Chettinad College of Engineering & Technology under the departments of Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical engineering, Applied Science and Business Administration.
- Applications for admissions to all the courses must be submitted online.

Chettinad College of Engineering & Technology (CCET) BE Admission 2023
CCET offers 4 year B.E courses under 5 disciplines for which the annual intake is 360 students. Admissions to BE program at CCET are done on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, reduced to 200. Admissions will be conducted through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling process.
Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) with Physics, Chemistry and mathematics as compulsory subjects and at least 50% average marks put together of all three subjects.

The children of Central Government employees will also be eligible for admissions even if they are not domicile residents of the state, provided their parents have been serving in Tamil Nadu for past 5 years.
Applicants who are not the residents of the State but have completed their 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th from Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply for admissions without having to enclose their nativity certificate.

CCET also offers Engineering and Business Administration courses at postgraduate level. CCET admits students to PG courses on the basis of marks scored in TANCET, the state level entrance exam conducted by Anna University.
- For admission to ME program, candidates must possess B.Tech/ B.E degree with at least 50% marks.
- Relaxation of 5% will be given to the candidates of the reserved categories.
- Minimum educational qualification MBA program is a Bachelor’s degree of with at least 50% marks (45% in case of reserved categories).
- Applicants with a valid GATE score need to apply through the separate forms available for GATE qualified candidates.
- GATE qualified candidates are not required to appear for the written entrance exam

Entrance exam will be conducted through offline mode for the duration of 2 hours. All the questions will be objective based and the applications for the same must be submitted offline.
- Forms can be downloaded from the official web portal.
- The application fee for M.E and MBA is INR 500 for the unreserved categories.
- The TANCET rank will be deduced after normalization of marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance test.
- After counseling schedule is announced, candidates will have to attend TANCA counselling process for verification of documents, seat allotment and confirmation of admission process.

- Candidates can apply for TANCET and TNEA examination/ counselling through the official portal.
- For TANCET examination, candidates need to register with a valid email id, phone number and password.
- In case of TANCET, the application fee is INR 500 for general candidates and INR 250 for reserved category candidates.
- Application fee can be paid through Debit/ Credit card or Net banking.
- For TNEA applications, candidates need to register through the official portal and fill the personal details along with academic qualification details.
Attach the self-attested copies of the following documents along with the hard copy of the duly filled in form:
- Class 10th mark sheet
- Class 12th mark sheet
- Transfer certificate issued by school
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Nativity certificate
- Relevant certificates for the children of Ex-servicemen/freedom fighters
