CIET Bardhaman offers B.Tech in various disciplines of engineering who have passed Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates should also possess valid rank in JEE Main conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam (WBJEE). Candidates with minimum 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (for WBJEE) are eligible to take admission in these courses.
For lateral entry admissions, candidates should have completed three year Diploma from AICTE recognized college with minimum 60% of marks and possess valid JELET rank.

For JEE Main, the date of birth of the candidate should fall after October 01, 1993. 5-year relaxation is provided in the lower age limit for reserved category students who are taking admission through JEE Main.
- Reserved category candidates should have scored minimum 40% aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics and Biology/Chemistry/Bio technology/Computer Science.
- 20% of the total intake is for lateral entry candidates.
