Birla Vishwakarma Mahavidlaya Engineering College offers B. Tech programs in 9 disciplines. The minimum eligibility criteria for entry into any of the B. Tech programs is 10+2 or equivalent with 45% in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
Selection of candidates is done on the basis of marks/ rank secured by the applicant in GUJCET, which is followed by a counselling session conducted on a state level. A final merit list of the candidates is declared after counselling process.

The college offers M. Tech programs in 4 disciplines. The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to any of the M. Tech programs offered by the college is a B.E. / B. Tech degree with minimum 45% in order to qualify for admission.
Selection of candidates is done on the basis of marks/ rank secured by the applicant in Gujrat PGCET, which is followed by a counselling session conducted on a state level.
GATE candidates can also apply and do not need to apply for PGCET if they have a valid GATE score. However, counselling is mandatory for both GATE and PGCET candidates. The final list of selected candidates is declared after counselling.

For B. Tech programs
Applicants seeking admission through GUJCET can apply online by visiting the GSEB website. New applicants are required to register their candidature before filling the online application form. Candidates can obtain the information brochure and PIN for registration by paying INR 300 at any of the listed “help centers” assigned by the board. A unique user ID and password will be generated which the candidate will need to use for future correspondence. The process of online application post registration is as follows:
For M. Tech Programs
The process of admission for M. Tech programs is the same as that for B. Tech programs, but the candidates can apply through a dedicated website instead of the GSEB website. The registration fee for M. Tech candidates is INR 1000. Print out and self-attested copies of relevant documents must be submitted at the nearest Help Centre.
