Birbhum Institute of Technology and Management is located in West Bengal. It’s been 19 years since the campus was established in 1999. The college is affiliated to WBUT. BIET West Bengal offers full-time B.Tech and M.Tech program in six and two specializations respectively.

The college offers a four-year full-time B.Tech program in six specializations. The minimum eligibility is 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics and any one of the given subjects, i.e. Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational. Applicants must score more than 45% (40% in case of reserved category) marks in the qualifying examination. Final admission is based on the score in WBJEE or JEE Main followed by counselling. B.Tech (Lateral) is also offered for B.Sc or Diploma (relevant discipline) holders.

- Final admission is done through counselling cum seat allotment process on payment of INR 500 as counselling fee.

BIET, West Bengal offers M. Tech for the duration of two years in two specializations. At least 60% marks in B.Tech or M.Sc in the relevant discipline is the minimum eligibility criteria for admission. GATE or WBUT PGET qualified candidate can apply for admission.

Students can apply offline for B.Tech, B.Tech (Lateral Entry) and M.Tech programs. the application forms are different for different programs. Students can download the application form by following the below-listed steps:
- Visit the official website of BIET, West Bengal.
- Click on ‘Admissions’ tab in the menu bar.
- Further, click on ‘Admission Procedure’ in the drop-down list.
- Download the application form with respect to the course.
- Fill the application form accordingly.
- Pay the application fee through Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Birbhum Institute of Engineering and Technology” payable at Suri.
- Mention your name and mobile number on the back side of the DD.
- Send the duly filled application form along with the DD to:
