Alpha Merit Scholarship Scheme:  Alpha College of Engineering offering merit scholarships to students who secure admission based on their academic performance in the qualifying examination. The following are the details for the same:

• Students who secure not less than 70% marks in the qualifying public examination as prescribed by Anna University will be eligible to apply for a merit scholarship.
• All applicants will be ranked in the order of their merit.
• The grant of a scholarship will be subject to the applicant securing admission to the Alpha College of Engineering.
• The award of the scholarship is not restricted. The awardee will be designated as Alpha Scholar during the tenure of the scholarship. 
• Nature of Scholarship: The scholarship will be offered by way of a full or partial tuition fee waiver depending on the marks scored by the candidate.

Sports Scholarship: National and State-level Players will be eligible to apply for a sports scholarships.

• Nature of Scholarship: The scholarship will be offered by way of a full or partial tuition fee waiver depending on their earlier sports performance.

Special Scholarship: Students from Army, Navy, Economic background, physically challenged. The students are eligible Special Scholarship.

Scholarship 1: SC/ST Scholarship

• This scholarship is eligible for candidates who are Indian citizens and have passed Higher Secondary examination.
• The income of the parent should not exceed INR 2,50,000 per annum.
• The candidate should not be in receipt of another scholarship/assistance from other sources.
• The candidate should have 75% attendance every year.
• The award of scholarship is subject to good conduct and character. It is renewable every year on year within stages of education.

Scholarship 2: BC/MBC/DNC Scholarship

• The candidates who belong to BC / MBC / DNC community are eligible for this scholarship.
• The annual income of the parents of the candidate should not exceed INR 2,00,000.
• The candidate should have 75% attendance every year.
• The candidates who are admitted through Single Window System are eligible.
• The award of scholarship is subject to good conduct and character. It is renewable every year on year within stages of education.

Scholarship 3: First Graduate Scholarship

• The candidates who belong to OC / BC / MBC / SC / SCA / ST community are eligible for this scholarship.
• Candidates who undergo graduate study for the first time in the family are only eligible and there should not be any graduate other than the applicant.
• The candidates who are admitted through Single Window System are eligible.
