DG Vaishnav College Admission 2023: Application Form (Open), Courses, Eligibility, Dates, , Cutoff, Fees

DG Vaishnav College offers 3 UG courses in 20 specializations for the duration of 3 years. Admissions to all the UG courses are based up on merit list issued by the college. Candidates must have passed higher secondary examinations for the admissions to UG courses.

The merit list will be available on the college website and also at the campus. Candidates who fulfill the minimum educational eligibility criteria can apply through application forms available at the college website.

The university also offers Management degree (BBM) and a degree in Computer Applications (BCA) at UG level. Selection will be based up on the merit list by the admission committee. The candidates must possess a higher secondary examination certificate to apply for the admissions.

The counseling will be conducted online at the university level. Applications should be submitted before the last date. The application fee of INR 300 has to be paid through a Demand Draft.

• Seats will be reserved for the candidates under management quota.

The college offers M.Com, M.A & M.Sc in 13 different specializations. The college admits students to PG courses through entrance exam scores as well as the performance of the candidate in group discussion and personal interview. Candidates must hold a graduate degree to be eligible for the admission to the postgraduate programs. 

The entrance exam will be conducted in offline mode. All the questions will be objective based. Applications have to be submitted offline. Forms can be downloaded from the official web portal. Merit list after the entrance exam will be available at the campus and the official website.

Candidates are requested to submit the hardcopy of the filled in Application form at the Department of Social Work, along with 2 copies of all the attested certificates at the time of personal interview. The application fee is INR 500. For NRI/ Foreign candidates, seats will be filled on the merit basis according to the marks obtained in qualifying degree examination

The college also offers MBA & MCA as postgraduate courses. Admissions to MBA and MCA program will be based on the scores obtained in the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) exam conducted by the Government at State level. For MBA, candidates will also be admitted on the basis of MAT scores. The written entrance exam will consist of the objective as well as subjective questions.

For MBA admission, candidates must have scored at least 60% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam. Students in the final year, awaiting results are also eligible to apply. The admission committee will make the preliminary evaluation of the application. Subsequently, the eligible candidates will be called for Group Discussion and final interview. List of candidates selected under management quota will be displayed on the official website.

The applications can be submitted through offline mode. The application fee is INR 750. Application forms can be downloaded from the college website and submitted upon filling along with the required documents to the SoM DG Vaishnav College.

At the time of admission (provisional), the following certificates must be produced in original:

1. Degree/Provisional certificate of UG/PG.
2. Total consolidated mark list plus all individual mark sheet of UG degree.
3. Community certificate.
4. Transfer certificate. 
5. Conduct certificate.
6. MAT / TANCET recent score cards.
7. Other university students must produce eligibility certificate from University of Madras.
8. Health fitness certificate from Government authorized medical practitioners.
9. Sports/ Extracurricular /Co-curricular certificates if any.
