Ans: No, College does not provide transportation service. Though college is easily accessible via the local transport system and students prefer to cycle to reach college.

Do colleges have sufficient tools to teach Mass communication?

Ans: Mass communication is a newly added course in the Arts stream. It is still under process to receive approval of affiliation from Calcutta University. Though the college has appointed 2 professors for smooth conduct of course.

How is the Geography course at Dr. Kanailal Bhattacharya College?

Ans: Geography course is taught under the Humanities stream. There are fixed no of Theory and practical classes scheduled for Geography. Practical classes are very engaging and helpful for students. It is very useful for aspirants who want to secure jobs in the public sector.

Ans: No, College has only approved Bachelor's courses. Though college is planning for an addition to new courses for masters.

Ans: Students do not have to wear any specific dress code during college hours.

Ans: The Annual Sports of the college is held in December with the active participation of students, teachers, and non-teaching members. Though the college has no playground to promote outdoor games. Two neighboring playgrounds are used for practicing outdoor games.

Ans: Yes, college does have a Language laboratory for smooth learning of humanities subjects and elevation of skills.

Ans: Yes, There are many co-curricular activities organized in college every year aiming for the mental and intellectual development of the students. Like, annual sports (indoor and outdoor) Interdepartmental competitions, friendly cricket matches involving students and teachers/ non-teaching staff, induction program, valediction ceremony/session, etc.
