About VGSoM
VGSoM (Vinod Gupta School of Management) is a part of IIT Kharagpur and is the first school of management of its kind set up within the IIT system. It is a public business school ranked 14th by NIRF 2023 and 13th by IIRF 2023 in India. VGSOM offers a fully residential flagship MBA program. The B-school also offers an Executive MBA course for working executives over weekends in Kolkata. Moreover, the VGSoM (IIT KGP) also offers PGDBA Program jointly with IIM Calcutta and ISI. The college also offers a PhD program of 3 years duration.
For MBA / EMBA / PGDBA admissions, the College accepts CAT Score followed by a Personal Interview. International candidates seeking admission in the MBA program must possess a valid score in the GMAT exam. For PhD, The eligible candidates with Post-Graduation in required discipline with a good academic record are shortlisted through a Written / Computer Test followed by a Personal Interview. VGSoM runs a flagship program of MBA within the IIT system. The school accepts the score of CAT and GMAT exams for admission to its fresh batches. The applicants must have the minimum CAT 2022 percentile as follows:
