SS Institute of Medical Sciences Admission 2024: Dates, Cutoff, Eligibility, Selection Criteria, Application Process

SS Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Center offers MBBS at the UG level. The student intake for MBBS is 150 seats. Candidates who have passed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology from a recognized board are eligible to apply.

Admission is given on the basis of the candidate’s merit in NEET UG conducted by CBSE and allotment of the seat is done through offline counselling conducted by the SSIMS.

Key Points:

• Candidates should be at least 17 years of age as on December 31, 2021 at the time of admission.
• Candidates should have passed English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology individually to be eligible for admission.
• 40% seats each are reserved for Government and Private quota admissions.
• The remaining 15% and 5% seats are reserved for NRI Sponsored quota and MGT/ IP quota admissions.

SSIMSRC offers MD and MS at the PG level along with a PG Diploma course. Students who have completed MBBS Degree with compulsory rotating internship of one-year duration from an MCI recognized Institution are eligible to apply for admission to the PG program.

Admission to all the courses is based on the score in NEET PG followed by counselling conducted by KEA.

The institute offers DM in Cardiology and Neurology and, M.Ch in Urology and Plastic Surgery at the Super Speciality level. Candidates must have an MD/ MS degree from a recognized university to be eligible. Admission to DM and M.Ch is based on the performance in NEET SS.
