Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Wardha also known as MGIMS came into existence in 1969 and is located at Sevagram, Maharashtra.
The NAAC accredited medical institution is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences or MUHS, Nashik.

NEET Counselling
The counselling session for 2021 will commence in July 2021 conducted by Directorate General of Health Services. Candidates will be called for counselling on the basis of merit list published. How to Apply for MGIMS?
Eligible students need to apply online on the official website once the NEET exam results are declared within 7 days. After complete screening, :merit list will be published on the website. Selected students will be called for counselling in the campus with required documents.

MGIMS Scholarships
The institute in itself does not offer any financial aid or scholarship to students. However it accepts Government approved scholarships. The details are furnished below.
Short Term Studentship Programme or STS
The scholarship is provided by Indian Council of Medical Research annually to MCI recognised Medical College students. In January 2021, it will be awarded to 1200 MBBS students and 300 BDS students. Interested students need to apply online at ICMR website.
The value of studentship is INR 10000 per month for two months duration.
