IMS BHU Ranking

IMS BHU is a highly prestigious medical college that is ranked 8^th in India by NIRF in 2023. Besides medical, it is also a premier and prestigious nursing institute in India. IMS BHU Admission

IMS BHU Admission is based on marks obtained in NEET UG, NEET PG, and NEET MDS for all MBBS, B.Sc Nursing, BAMS, B.Pharma, MS/MD, BDS, MDS, and M.Pharma courses. Admission to B.Sc Nursing and M.Sc in Health Statistics is based on merit in the last qualifying examination. Students seeking admission to PhD need to clear BHU-RET conducted by the university.  Candidates clearing the entrance exam have to appear for all-India and state-level quota counseling for the allocation of seats for admission.

Over 35,000 students enroling from all over India, IMS BHU has a multistorey building on a spacious campus that offers its students the latest academic and recreational facilities.

IMS BHU Hostels

• IMS BHU Hostels are offered in single, double, and triple-sharing rooms for boys and girls.
• Each room is equipped with all basic amenities, such as a bed, study table, cupboard, chair, and table.
• The hostel also has a mess, a water cooler, a reading room, and a recreational room.
• It also provides 24-hour security on hostel premises for the safety of students.
• IMS BHU allots one warden for about 60-80 students.
• The paid allotment in hostels is INR 1500 per month in addition to the regular hostel fee charged by the university.
• The student visitor will be charged INR 300 for non-AC rooms and INR 500 for AC rooms.

• IMS BHU offers its students a centralized library system with more than 15,000 online journals.
• The Institute of Medical Sciences Library was established in 1961.
• The college library has 110 Foreign and 16 Indian Journals.
• It has 50,000 e-books, and a huge collection of digitalized rare manuscripts.
• The library is fully air-conditioned and has a seating capacity of over 200.

• Laboratory: The university laboratories are equipped with the latest technological equipment and tools.
• Sports Ground: The institute offers a huge sports complex with various indoor & outdoor facilities to its students. It celebrates annual sports in February every year.
