Lady Hardinge Medical College offers B.Sc (Hons.) in Nursing only to women from its College of Nursing. The entire course is divided into 8 semesters. Students are assessed through theory and practical Exams.

• Duration- The duration of the course is 4 years.
• Candidates willing to take admission in B.Sc Nursing must have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent in Science Stream from a recognized Board with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% marks for SC/ST & OBC candidates).
• Mandatory Subjects in 10+2 level are English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
• Attendance Requirements: 80% in theory and practical for appearing in examination.

LHMC B.Sc Nursing Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates seeking admission to First Year B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing course must have passed Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination/Indian School Certificate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent from recognized Board with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% marks for SC/ST & OBC candidates) of four subjects including English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, provided the student has passed in each subject separately
• The minimum age requirement is that the candidate must be of 17 years of age as on 31 December, 2020.
• Only women candidates are eligible to apply for the course.

LHMC B.Sc Nursing Admission Procedure

The Admission to this course is Entrance Based. Candidates have to submit an online application obtainable from the NTA website along with application fee. Admissions of the candidates shall be made by the process of counselling.

How to Apply?

• To apply for the Entrance Exam to take admission, the candidates need to visit the Official Website of National Testing Agency (NTA): https://con.lhmcee.nta.ac.in
• Then click on the “Application form” tab and fill the required details such personal, educational and contact details.
• After that upload the scanned image of the latest passport size photo and signature.
• Then pay the application fee using Credit/Debit Card/Net-Banking/Paytm and keep proof of fee paid. Application fee for General/EWS/OBC(NCL)/CWWAPP is INR 550 and SC/ST candidates have to pay INR 300. Persons with disabilities (PwD) candidates are exempted from payment of exam fee.

• Recent character certificate (within last 6 months)

LHMC B.Sc Nursing Placement

Lady Hardinge Medical College doesn’t provide job opportunities. As such there are no placement interviews and campus selections.

But, the college offers an internship program in the 4th year to the B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing students. The stipend for the internship program is INR 500 per month as allowance from the Government.
