Institute of Human Behaviour & Allied Sciences (IHBAS), established in 1993, is a tertiary level Medical Institute deals in patient care, research and teaching activities in the field of Mental health, Neuro and other Allied Sciences. The institute owns three clinics of its own.
The institute offers PG, doctorate and even diploma courses. The institute offers post graduate courses in the field of psychology, neurology and psychiatry in addition to other training and research programmes. IHBAS offers full time PG and doctorate courses.

- It offers M.D Psychiatry, DM Neurology, and M.Phil to be covered in 2 semesters.
- The selection of candidates is done on the basis of NEET PG for MD and DM courses.
- Students must qualify the UGC-NET exam conducted by UGC or the internal exam conducted by the department individually for M.Phil admissions.
The Institute is an autonomous body, and has its Memorandum of Association and Rules and Regulations duly approved under the Societies Act. IHBAS is affiliated to the University of Delhi (DU)
IHBAS is recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI) and Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). It recruits experienced lecturers and professionals to train the students.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have qualified 10+2 from CBSE or any recognized State board. It is compulsory for the candidates to have PCB in their 10+2 i.e. Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Candidates must have a graduation degree.
Applicants having a B.Sc degree along with the mandatory subjects are also eligible for the IHBAS MD course.

- Visit the official site of NEET PG and click on the New registration link
- After reading the instructions carefully, click on apply online
- Fill out the required details in the application form like personal details, academic details and other details
- Review the application form carefully and click on Final Submit
- Candidates will be issued NEET PG login credentials after a successful registration
- Sign in again using the credentials in order to complete the NEET PG application form
- Scan and upload the required documents like photos of passport size and postcard size, signature, the impression of left thumb, passing certificate of class 10 in the form according to the guidelines
- Make the payment of application using Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking/ UPI app/ E-Wallet
- Take a print copy of the application form and the confirmation page for further reference

Regular MA/ MSc in Psychology/ Applied Psychology/ Cognitive Science/ Clinical/ Counseling Psychology/ Health Psychology from UGC recognized University with minimum 55% marks and 5% relaxation for reserved categories SC/ST/OBC.

Note - In case of nonavailability of suitable PH candidates the seat will be filled up by unreserved candidates.
IHABS will pay stipend INR 12000 p.m to the selected candidates. No stipend will be paid to in-service candidates and candidates under Foreign National Category.
How to Apply for IHBAS?
The IHBAS M.Phil selection process is solely based on merit. The IHBAS M.Phil selection process has three phases -
- Entrance Exam – The aspirants need to appear and qualify the entrance exam set for the M.Phil course at IHBAS.
- Interview- Aspirants qualifying the IHBAS entrance exam are shortlisted on the basis of the marks they scored and are called for the interview. The candidates need to clear the interview round to get admission in the M.Phil course at IHBAS.
The candidates should send the Application form complete in all the respects as prescribed on the IHBAS website to the HOD and Chief Course Coordinator of the respective courses.

- For Reserved Categories – INR 1000
- The application fee is to be paid in the form of DD drawn in favour of the Director, University of Delhi enclosed with the application only.
- Documents Verification- The candidates will then be shortlisted according to their performance in the interview. Then, the documents submitted along with the application form will be verified.
The documents should be genuine and not forged. If the documents are fake then the admission will be cancelled by the college and necessary actions will be taken.
Application received without application fee or other documents will not be considered.
