Institute of Human Behaviour & Allied Sciences (IHBAS), established in 1993, is a tertiary level Medical Institute deals in patient care, research and teaching activities in the field of Mental health, Neuro and other Allied Sciences. The institute owns three clinics of its own.
The institute offers PG, doctorate and even diploma courses. The institute offers post graduate courses in the field of psychology, neurology and psychiatry in addition to other training and research programmes. IHBAS offers full time PG and doctorate courses.

The Institute is an autonomous body, and has its Memorandum of Association and Rules and Regulations duly approved under the Societies Act. IHBAS is affiliated to the University of Delhi (DU)
IHBAS is recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI) and Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). It recruits experienced lecturers and professionals to train the students.

Candidates must have qualified 10+2 from CBSE or any recognized State board. It is compulsory for the candidates to have PCB in their 10+2 i.e. Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Candidates must have a graduation degree.
Applicants having a B.Sc degree along with the mandatory subjects are also eligible for the IHBAS MD course.
Candidate must have passed MBBS from recognised university or equivalent.
Selection Criteria
The candidates are selected on the basis of NEET PG entrance exam.
It started with 01 candidate per year in 2003 and Now the seats have been increased to 3 candidates per year from July, 2010 and degree is recognized by MCI.

Regular MA/ MSc in Psychology/ Applied Psychology/ Cognitive Science/ Clinical/ Counseling Psychology/ Health Psychology from UGC recognized University with minimum 55% marks and 5% relaxation for reserved categories SC/ST/OBC.
The candidates will be selected on the basis of UGC entrance exam and the grades obtained during the Interview session scheduled to be conducted by IHBAS.

Note - In case of nonavailability of suitable PH candidates the seat will be filled up by unreserved candidates.
IHABS will pay stipend INR 12000 p.m to the selected candidates. No stipend will be paid to in-service candidates and candidates under Foreign National Category.
The IHBAS M.Phil selection process is solely based on merit. The IHBAS M.Phil selection process has three phases -
The candidates should send the Application form complete in all the respects as prescribed on the IHBAS website to the HOD and Chief Course Coordinator of the respective courses.
The documents should be genuine and not forged. If the documents are fake then the admission will be cancelled by the college and necessary actions will be taken.
Application received without application fee or other documents will not be considered.
