GMC Kozhikode Faculty

The Department of Cardiology at this college consists of three cardiology units, each with 1 Professor, 2 Assistant/Associate Professors, and 4 DM Cardiology Post Graduate Residents. Faculty members are highly qualified, many holding multiple degrees and having significant teaching experience, often over 25 years. The student-teacher ratio varies, with some batches having up to 250 students, impacting interaction. However, small group learning and clinical postings help enhance learning. The college, being the only government medical institution in North Kerala, experiences a high patient load, offering students diverse clinical exposure.
