Dolphin PG Institute of BioMedical & Natural Sciences, Dehradun - Scholarship Details

Dolphin PG Institute offers scholarship to the eligible and deserving students. The eligible candidates must submit the required documents to avail the scholarship during their course of study at Dolphin PG Institute. Scholarship offered by Dolphin Institute is detailed below:

1. Scholarship for Meritorious Students: This scholarship is offered to students wihh excellent scores in CUET UG/PG

• Candidates having CUET score > 95 percentile will be given a scholarship amount of 100% on the tuition fee
• Candidates having CUET score < 95 percentile will be given a scholarship amount of 50% on the tuition fee
• Candidates having CUET score < 90 percentile and > 85 percentile will be given a scholarship amount of 30% on the tuition fee
• Candidates having CUET score < 85 percentile and > 75 percentile will be given a scholarship amount of 15% on the tuition fee

2. Scholarship for Meritorious Students: Dolphin PG Institute of Biomedical and Natural Sciences also offers scholarships to students from CBSE/ICSE boards or any other state boards mentioned under COBSE with excellent scores for UG programs and UG score from any recognized university. 

• Candidates having grade 12 score / qualifying examination score > 95% will be given a relaxation of 100% on the tuition fee
• Candidates having grade 12 score / qualifying examination score < 95% and > 90% will be given a relaxation of 70% on the tuition fee
• Candidates having grade 12 score / qualifying examination score < 90% and > 85% will be given a relaxation of 50% on the tuition fee
• Candidates having grade 12 score / qualifying examination score < 85% and > 80% will be given a relaxation of 15% on the tuition fee

3. Scholarship for the students from the state of Uttarakhand: This scholarship is offered to students who are the permanent domiciles of Uttarakhand.

• Candidates having grade 12 score / qualifying examination score > 70% will be given a relaxation of 15% on the tuition fee
• Candidates having grade 12 score / qualifying examination score < 70% will be given a relaxation of 10% on the tuition fee

4. Scholarship for students from Hill Terrains: This scholarship is offered to students who are the permanent residents of Hill Terrains, specifically, the states of Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, North-East, and Uttarakhand.

• Candidates having grade 12 score / qualifying examination score > 70% will be given a relaxation of 10% on the tuition fee
• Candidates having grade 12 score / qualifying examination score < 70% will be given a relaxation of 5% on the tuition fee

5. Scholarship for Single Girl Child: This scholarship is offered to a single girl child. The applicant must have a grade 12 score / qualifying examination score > 60% and will be given a relaxation of 10% on the tuition 

6. Scholarship for Sports Persons: This scholarship is offered to students who have participated in state, national, or international sports competitions approved by the Sports Authority of India. 

• Those who have won trophy/medal in gold/silver/bronze will be granted 100% relaxation in tuition fee
• Those who have participated in State/National/International level sports approved by the Sports Authority of India will be granted 50% relaxation in tuition fees

7. Scholarship for wards of defense personnel: This scholarship is awarded to wards of in-service and ex-service personnels/martyrs (Indian Army, Indian Airforce, Indian Navy, and Paramilitary Forces)

• Candidates having grade 12 score / qualifying examination score > 50% will be given a relaxation of 10% on the tuition fee for wards of in-service and ex-service defense personnels
• Candidates having grade 12 score / qualifying examination score > 70% will be given a relaxation of 20% on the tuition fee for wards of martyrs 

8. Scholarships for wards of Dolphin Employees: This scholarship is awarded to wards of staff (teaching and non-teaching) at the Dolphin PG Institute.

• Candidates having grade 12 score / qualifying examination score > 95% will be given a relaxation of 100% on the tuition fee
• Candidates having grade 12 score / qualifying examination score < 95% and > 90% will be given a relaxation of 70% on the tuition fee
• Candidates having grade 12 score / qualifying examination score < 90% and > 85% will be given a relaxation of 60% on the tuition fee
• Candidates having grade 12 score / qualifying examination score < 85% and > 75% will be given a relaxation of 50% on the tuition fee
• Candidates having grade 12 score / qualifying examination score < 75% and > 50% will be given a relaxation of 30% on the tuition fee

9. Scholarships for students of EWS: This scholarship is available for students of EWS category to extend financial assistance for pursuing higher education. To be eligible, the applicant must have secured at least 50% aggregate marks and his/her annual family income should not exceed INR 5 LPA. The selected student will be granted a relaxation of 100% in the tuition fee

10. Scholarship for Alumni: This scholarship is available to the alumni of Dolphin PG Institute for pursuing higher studies from this institute. A discount of INR 10,000 on the tuition fee is given to such students on all the programs. 

11. Dolphin Student Welfare Council Scholarship: This is a special one-time scholarship awarded to 20 meritorious students every year. To avail of the scholarship, the applicant must obtain at least 75% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination and must have a minimum attendance percentage of 85%. In addition, the applicant should be an active participant in any two or more activities of the following outreach programs/sports/NSS/NCC/rotary club/extension activities, etc. The selected candidates will be awarded INR 5000.

12. Special Scholarship: Dolphin PG Institute offers a special scholarship that is open to all the students. To avail of the scholarship, students must take a written test and appear for a personal interview round. The selected candidates will be given INR 10,000, INR 7500, and INR 5000 depending on their performance in the test and personal interview round.
