- Candidates should have passed the qualification of B.Sc. Nursing/ B.Sc.(Honors) in Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing by The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai or any other University accepted as equivalent there to, with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
- Candidates should have registered with the State Registration Council for Nursing and Midwifery with Nurse Unique Identity Number (NUID).
- Candidates should have minimum one year of work experience in a hospital or in a College or in a School of Nursing or in a Community Health Programme from the date of registration in the State Nursing Council after B.Sc. Nursing/B.Sc. (Honors) in Nursing (or) after /prior to Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (regular stream)
