The Bangalore Medical College (BMCRI) is a private medical college affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka (RGUHS). This college offers various UG and PG courses in Medical Science and Nursing. BMCRI also offers various certificate & Diploma courses under paramedical department.
The college accepts admission through NEET for MBBS course. For Undergraduate nursing and Postgraduate nursing courses, the selection is done via an entrance exams conducted by RGUHS. Selection Process: NEET score is the only criteria to secure admission in the MBBS programme offered by BMCRI. BMCRI conducts its own counselling for 85% of the total available seats with respect to the good NEET score. For rest of the 15% seats (All India based), the centralized counselling is conducted. It is regulated by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

BMCRI offers Undergraduate & Postgraduate courses in Nursing. Admission to B.Sc. and M.Sc. Nursing courses are done through the Entrance Exam conducted by RGUHS, Karnataka. BMCRI also offers various Diploma and Certificate courses of two and three-year duration. There are 10 seats available in each discipline of paramedical course. Selection Process: Admission to these paramedical (Diploma & Certificate) programme is performed on the basis of State level entrance conducted by the Paramedical Board. On the basis of entrance marks, selection committee invites the shortlisted students for the counselling round.
BMCRI follows a different application process for MBBS & PG Medical courses. For MBBS programme, students can apply on the basis of NEET score. Application for B.Sc. and M.Sc. nursing, PG and Super Speciality courses is discussed below:
Application for admission to these three courses can be submitted online by visiting the official website of RGUHS. The candidate will then need to fill in all the details and pay the registration fee online using a debit or credit card.
The Registration Fee is INR 2,500 for General and OBC Category and INR 625 for SC/ST and Category-I of Karnataka candidates. After that, a printout of the filled-in application need to be taken out and signed by the candidate. Finally, the candidate needs to send it to the university along with the required documents.
