Amrita School of Medicine Kochi Admission 2024: Fees Structure, Courses, Entrance Exam, Notification

Amrita School of Medicine offers MBBS at undergraduate level. It also includes one-year of internship. Selection of eligible candidates in MBBS is on the basis of NEET UG conducted by CBSE. Candidate must have passed 10+ 2 in science stream with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination.

Note: Candidates belonging to reserved categories are given a relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying examination.

Amrita School of Medicine Kochi offers doctoral level medical courses namely DM (Doctorate of Medicine) in nine specialisations and M. Ch (Master of Chirurgiae) in seven specialisations. Admission to these courses is on the basis of NEET SS (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Super Specialty). Candidates who have MD and MS degree and have acquired permanent registration from Medical Council of India (MCI) or the respective State Medical Council (SMC) are eligible to apply these courses.

• Candidates applying must have completed their compulsory internship on or before March 31 of the academic year. 
• Candidates likely to complete the internship on or before 31 March 2022 can also apply.

Amrita School of Medicine offers MD (Doctor of Medicine) and MS (Master of Surgery) at postgraduate level. Any candidate who has passed MBBS degree from a recognized university are registered with Medical Council of India or any other State Medical Council is eligible for the courses. Admission of eligible students will be based on valid score in NEET PG conducted by NBE.

Note: Course is of two-year in case of those candidates who have recognized Postgraduate Diploma in the same subject.

Amrita School of Medicine, Kochi campus offers 2-year PG Diploma in ten specializations to the aspiring candidates. Basic eligibility is to pass MBBS from a recognized university. Those candidates who have secured qualifying percentile for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) are eligible for admission in PG Diploma courses. Candidates who hold MBBS Degrees from Foreign Universities should have passed the Screening Test conducted by the National Board of Examinations.
