Deshbandhu College Admission 2023 is based on Common University Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by NTA for all UG and PG programs. Candidates are required to take the CUET UG exam for admission to the UG program and applicants are required to take the CUET PG exam for the PG program. Previously, the University of Delhi (DUET) entrance examination was accepted for the PG program, but it has been discontinued from the academic year 2023 onwards. Once CUET results are out, eligible candidates for all UG and PG programs must register at the University of Delhi Admissions Portal - admission.uod.ac.in.Further candidates will be required to fill in their preference for the program and college. For UG admission. Seats are allocated through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal. For PG admissions, 50% of seats are allocated to candidates with a bachelor's degree from Delhi University based on merit in the qualifying exam. The other half will be filled by students who qualify for the CUET PG exam.

Deshbandhu College Delhi offers UG courses in Commerce, Arts, and Science department. The college has reserved seats for ST/SC/OBC category in UG courses. 15 percent of seats are reserved for the SC, 7.5 percent for the ST, and 27 percent for OBC. All the candidates who belong to the reserved category will get direct admission based on the cut-offs of the college.

Selection to UG courses is based on the CUET examinations conducted by the university followed by e-counselling rounds. Those candidates who qualify in their CUET examinations will be required to enroll for e-counselling. Candidates will then be able to choose which college they wish to attend through the two rounds of e-counselling.

Admission dates are declared by the Delhi University. The university opens a common UG application portal where candidates can submit their applications.
Deshbandhu offers PG programs into various commerce, arts and science streams. The basic eligibility for all the UG courses are 10+2+3 aggregate of 45% marks in HSC and graduation.
A candidate applying under post graduation category would have to register oneself online in NCWEB. The online registration would be conducted for those seeking admission to the PG courses under the faculty of Law/Arts and Humanities/Science and Engineering.
