About Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College
Deen Dayal Upadhyaya (DDU) College is a constituent college of the University of Delhi. The college was established in the year 1990 and is located in Sector-3, Dwarka. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College is ranked 24th among Indian colleges by the National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2023. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College is affiliated with the University Grants Commission (UGC) and National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a Grade ‘B’ and a CGPA of 2.63 on a 4-point scale.
DDU offers 9 UG Honours programes in Computer Science, Electronics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Mathematics, English, Commerce and Bachelor of Management Studies. Further, it also offers bachelor’s programme in physical science, Life Science, mathematical science and Bachelor in Arts. At present, DDU is offering Add-on courses in Russian Language and Effective Communication and Personality Development through Theatre (ECPDT) which are very popular amongst students and a certificate course in French.
DDU college has 1800 undergraduates and 110 postgraduate students. Admission to UG courses is based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) followed by e-counseling. The college is spread in an area of 7.7 acres which includes well-equipped laboratories, a library, a wifi-enabled computer Centre and an auditorium for conducting cultural events and annual fests. There is also an air-conditioned canteen for students and staff in the college. The college also has hostel facilities for students.
