- UBC's Faculty of Education offers different options for completing a BEd degree depending on your academic background. The BEd Secondary option prepares pre-service teachers in curriculum, instruction, and practicum coursework with a focus on teaching in secondary schools.
- Teachable subjects in the secondary program are Art, Business, Culinary Arts, Computer Science, English Language Learner, English, French, Home Economics, Mathematics, Modern Languages, Music, Physical Education, Science (Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Earth Science, Physics), Social Studies (History, Geography, and Social Science), Technology, and Theatre.
- Students who complete the requirements for the BEd Secondary program (specializing in one to two teachable subjects) and who are eligible to graduate are recommended to the Teacher Regulation Branch for a professional teaching certificate.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Graduation from high school
- Minimum of 70% in Grade 11 or Grade 12 English (or their equivalents)
- At least six academic/non-academic Grade 12 courses (recommended, but not required)

Graduation from a university-preparatory program at a senior secondary school: Higher Secondary School Certificate awarded on completion of Standard XII. Certificates must be official. Photocopies are acceptable if certified by the school principal, head, or counselor. Notarized copies are not acceptable.

To apply for the M.Sc Finance program of UBC you must have a four-year undergraduate degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the last two years of study. You must also have at least studied one calculus course and one linear algebra course. International students must submit a valid ELP test score. GMAT score of 550 is preferred. For the M.Sc Business Administration program the admission requirements vary depending on the student’s educational background, work experience, and other factors.
Qualification and submission of GRE score is not necessary to get admission in the MS Pharmaceutical Sciecnes program of the University of British Columbia. You can apply for this program after completing a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field with at least B+ grade and a valid ELP test score.

Students who have completed a four-years Bachelor degree in Engineering, Forestry or Medicine with a minimum of 65% from a recognized university are eligible to apply for the master program of UBC. Along with that you must have a valid ELP test score. GMAT/GRE is not required for this program.
