Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students have to complete the Master’s degree in the physical sciences, biological sciences, or engineering from the recognized institution.
- Students who have completed a Master of Applied Science degree should also get admission.
- Additional courses may be required at the discretion of the School and depending on the nature of the research work to be undertaken.
- A minimum GPA of at least 3.7/4.33 (A- grade) in the last 60 credit hours of study is required to be eligible for the program.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they have completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Submission of GRE scores is compulsory for this program, so, it is recommended to submit the scores (minimum 300) to get admission in this program.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.

- Two Professional References: Referees (Teachers, guidance counselors, or Professors) should comment on academics and that references should submit along with the application system.
- Personal Statement: It should include a brief overview of themselves, strengths, and any work experience and/or education that students have.
- Transcripts: Students have to submit transcripts from all universities/colleges attended, World Education Services Assessments, and English Language Proficiency test scores.
- Statement of Intent: Reasons or intentions for pursuing studies in this program, including a description of prior experience.
- Confirmation of Employment Form: Students must be emailed as an attachment by applicant or referee.
- Proof of name change: Required only if name discrepancies exist between transcripts/assessments/test scores and other application documents. Examples of proof: Marriage/divorce certificates, 2 copies of government-issued ID that include a previous and current name and date of birth.
- ELP Scores: Students have to submit their English language proficiency scores like IELTS, TOEFL, or other test scores.
