The Bachelor of Engineering in Sustainable and Renewable Energy Engineering is a 4-year program at Carleton University.
Students will have the opportunity to apply to the Co-operative Education Program.
This program gives analytical and hands-on skills for designing, building, operating, and enhancing sustainable energy systems that combine energy generation, distribution and utilization in an environmentally responsible and economically beneficial manner.
The Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) program in Sustainable and Renewable Energy Engineering offers:
- a problem-solving approach to learning, as well as a professional focus on sustainability and renewable energy technologies;
- the opportunity to follow one of two study streams suited to your background and interests
- a challenging final-year design project that brings together knowledge, skills, and expertise gained in the program
- generous scholarships to high-standing applicants.
Two streams are offered: Smart Technologies for Power Generation and Distribution, and Efficient Energy Generation and Conversion.
Students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of great design projects.
The BEng is fully accredited by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board.
The student to faculty ratio is 9:1 which bridges the gap between faculty and students.
After graduating from this program, students will meet the educational requirements for registration as a professional engineer.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students will need a secondary school or high school graduation certificate with a minimum of 12 years of study.
Students must have transcripts from their senior high school along with their graduation diploma or certificate, and any graduation exam results.
If English is not the students’ first language then they must provide proof of English competency.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Students required to passed Class 12th with a percentage of 74-76% (Major), 78-82% (Honours) from one of the following boards:

- Indian School Certificate (CISCE)
