- The Centre for Environmental Engineering Research and Education (CEERE) in the Schulich School of Engineering (SSE) has the overall responsibility for the coordination and delivery of a comprehensive postgraduate program specialization in the interdisciplinary field of environmental engineering.

Courses: 10 courses are required to complete this degree, four of which are core engineering courses in engineering tools, sustainability engineering, climate change adaptation, and ethics, law, and the engineering profession The balance may be selected from topics such as:
- Principles of Environmental Engineering
- Environmental Chemistry and Microbiology
- Air Pollution Control Mitigation
- Contaminated Soil Remediation
- Wastewater Issues for the Oil and Gas Industry
- Life Cycle Assessment, and more
- Upon successful completion of the professional MEng program in environmental engineering, graduates will have gained advanced scientific and engineering knowledge that will prepare them to work in the releated areas.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Bachelor's degree (4-years) from a recognized institution or an equivalent degree from the university.
- GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 point system, over the past two years of full-time study (10 full-course equivalents or 60 units) of an undergraduate degree.

You can apply for the M.Eng Chemical and Petroleum Engineering proghram of the University of Calgary if you have completed a four-year bachelor’s degree in chemical or petroleum engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0. You must submit your official transcripts as well as a copy of your cetificate. International students must also submit a valid ELP test score unless eligible for exemption.
