Annie Review at Bishop's University [BU], Sherbrooke | Collegedunia

Fist year at University

A
8.8 /10

Because it is a small school, so there are fewer students, and to experience to live in residence and to be more autonomous (on my own), and to have a new experience. I also went to a conference prior to choosing which university I would go to, and it seems a really good school with great teachers and a good community.

Course Curriculum :

I think it is great! There are many different programs at the school, and within my own program I can take free electives which are courses not necessarily related to my program, and I have options to chose within my program courses which are great.

Fees :

It is about 1000$ per session ( a little bit more I don't remember exactly) and to live in residence, it costs about 500$ per month (depending on which residence you live in) and the meal plan is about 500$ per month too.

Examination Structure :

It depends, each teacher has a different way to structure their exams, but it is mainly multiple choice questions with short and long answers, and we normally have 1 hour to 1hour 15 to complete it. For final exams, it is normally 3 hours long and the schedule is created by the school. We can access it for about 1 month before.

Faculty :

As of now, I think they are cool and really sympathetic. As it is from cashiers to receptionists at the entrance or just teachers, we can see that they are happy to work here at the university.
