I opted for this college because it is well known in my area and a fantastic option for my location. My older sibling came here first. My admissions average was 85% in my top 6 university-level grade 12 courses. The admission process was easy and I only applied to western universities and affiliating colleges.
Course Curriculum
The course curriculum is fair, my program balances physical activity, science, and math throughout the 4-year program.
Exams
I opted for this program because it was more hands-on than any other, which is my learning strategy. The only requirement was an 80%+ average in my top 6 university-level grade 12 courses. There were no exams I needed to take to enter into my program as I live in Canada. I had to take grade 12 English and biology for this program.
Fees
The yearly fee for my program is $14000, I've applied to OSAP to gain the half loan and half grant. Criteria is basically a family in need of financial assistance based on the yearly income of parents. This process is fairly simple yet somewhat unfair for some students whose parents are not assisting in college tuition and who make a substantial amount of money.
Scholarship
Yes, I applied for financial aid in high school and during my first semester at university.
Examination Structure
The exam structure at western is fairly organized and very serious.
Faculty
The faculty at western is very friendly and for the most part, enjoys teaching and helping students achieve their goals. There is a website used to review professors for students to use when choosing courses.
