The reason behind choosing the University of Windsor was the MAC program. The program consists of both technical courses and business studies. That means when you come out you have the knowledge of both programming and management. Also, the program gives an opportunity to do a COOP internship which definitely is a plus point for achieving future endeavors as you are getting Canadian work experience in order to get your degree.

Course Curriculum

8

The MAC program is a mixture of business studies and MS in computer science. It's like an entrepreneurship program. I would say that the MAC program is very keenly designed and if you focus well, you learn a lot and would be able to implement your knowledge when you enter the Canadian corporate world. It's like a summary of a Bachelor in computer science but more focus is given to project management and development. The reason is, we do have a very good team of developers in India but we have fewer good managers here and that's what the companies seek. And MAC program focuses on this more rather than just making you a postgraduate in CS.

Exams

minimum 7 bands in IELTS with each band not less than 6.5 Try to score more in speaking and listening. Because this is what actually you are judged upon when you go for an interview. I am not saying you to ignore other soft skills but focus on these two. University of Windsor's MAC program is highly competitive and if you want to cut through the competition and it's better to score as high as possible.

Placement

8

well, in these current situations, I would say there are 50 percent chances to get a placement. But if you have skills and are good enough in soft skills, the companies themselves would come up to you for giving you an offer. Try to grow instead of just getting a degree and trying to settle in Canada. If you choose the path of knowledge, all the circumstances would be aligned in perfect line for you. Try to focus on your studies instead of working part-time. Because you are coming here for becoming an IT engineer not a worker in some factories. In Canada, talent is appreciated and if you are talented nothing can stop you to make your dreams get true,

Internship

Yes, I am doing an internship at Hashtaggrow which is a startup in London Ontario.

Events

Well, Windsor is not as huge as other esteemed universities but, I would personally say that it has the best Library in the whole province. you can get a personal study room for 4 hours and you can get a group study room too. Every day, there are new activities that go on at the University, and it's great if you get time to participate in them. Wifi at the University of Windsor is very good and much secure, there are computer labs and computers in the library if you wish to save your laptop's battery. The library also provides Data for projects and huge chunks of data, especially for machine learning projects.

Fees

you must at least try to finance $32000for for the whole program.

Scholarship

No, I didn't receive any scholarship.

Faculty

Mr. Ziad Kobti. He is the director of the CS department. The pool of knowledge and experience. If you build a good relationship with him, there's a lot to learn from him. He does have a huge network with companies and other universities and thus, can help in giving you the recommendation in the job search.

Hostel

8

Well, as per my knowledge UofWindsor does have a hostel but I would suggest living off campus as it's relatively cheap and you have good options for food to explore outside.
