- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technician - Manufacturing degree at the Sault College is offered a 2-year (4 semesters) program.

- Students will receive a strong foundation in a wide variety of industrial applications including how to assist in preparing conventional and computer-assisted design (CAD) engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
- A graduate of the Mechanical Engineering Technician Program at Sault College will reliably demonstrate the ability to:
- complete all work in compliance with current legislation, standards, regulations, and guidelines
- apply quality control and quality assurance procedures to meet organizational standards and requirements
- analyze and solve mechanical problems by applying mathematics and fundamentals of mechanical engineering
- contribute to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of projects
- develop strategies for ongoing personal and professional development to enhance work performance, and etc

It can take anywhere from 3-9 months for a study permit to be processed by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. Send in the application as soon as applicant receive Sault College Letter of Acceptance.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma with Grade 12 English (C) ENG4C, and Grade 12 Foundations for College Math (C) MAP4C, or equivalent, or have mature student status.
Others:
- Students must be 19 years or older before the beginning of classes.
- Students who are graduated from Ontario Secondary Schools and who have obtained their diploma (OSSD) or certificate (OSSC) may be considered for admission on an individual basis for some programs delivered at the College.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
Indian Student Eligibility:
- The students must have completed 10th and intermediate i.e 12th grade which has the minimum with 60% marks.
- The minimum qualification required to attend this program is a higher secondary school certificate.

- Two confidential letters of recommendation: Referees (Teachers, guidance counselors, or Professors) should comment on academics and that references should submit along with the application system.
