- The Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Langara college is offered a 4-year Full-time program and prepares candidates to understand complex modern healthcare systems.
- This course contains 135 credits and nine consecutive semesters.
- The Langara College Faculty of Nursing offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program which equips students with the broad base of knowledge and skills necessary to provide professional nursing care in an increasingly complex health care system.
- The curriculum is reviewed regularly to ensure it is informed by new developments and trends in health care and nursing education.
- Upon successful completion of all the program requirements, leading to a BSN degree, graduates are eligible to write the registration exam to become a Registered Nurse in Canada.
- The BSN program has two intakes of students per year (fall [September] and spring [January]) and consists of nine semesters.
- All semesters are consecutive; there is, therefore, no time off during the program. However, there are college breaks of approximately two weeks duration between semesters as well as time off for Statutory Holidays
- Practice experiences can be held on weekdays or weekends and range in hours from 6:30 am to 9:30 pm.
- Preceptorship experiences include working night shifts from 7:30 pm to 7:30 am.
- Course names that end in "Practice" or "Practice Experience" are clinical placement experiences that occur off-campus in a variety of health care facilities and settings.
- The Langara Nursing Simulation Centre (NSC) consists of eight different practice spaces including a large skills lab with twenty electric beds, one small practice lab, five nursing simulation suites, and a debriefing room.
- The combination of hands-on learning and advanced technology within the NSC provides a wide-range of simulated clinical experiences in order for students to become prepared and competent health professionals.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students need a minimum GPA of 2.33 or an average of 3.6 in courses with no grade lower than 65%.
- Students will require high school transcripts or must be 19 years old by the first day of the first semester of attendance.
- Students required Basic math skills and the ability to work with decimals, fractions, and ratios are essential.
- Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL and PTE to get admission in this program.
Indian Student Eligibility:
- Indian Students required Certificates and Marksheets of class 10th and 12th with a minimum of 50% in all compulsory and elective courses.
