Following are the specific requirements for some popular diploma programs available at Oulton College:

  • Faculty of Health Sciences:
    • Grade 11 or 12 Chemistry or Biology with a minimum 65% average

  • Faculty of Human Services: All programs in the Faculty of Human Services require the students to be 19 years of age, prior to the commencement of practicum.

Medical Laboratory Technology/Optician Grade 11 or 12 Sciences i.e. Biology, Physics, Chemistry with a minimum of 65%; Aptitude Test and Faculty interview
Practical Nurse Grade 11 or 12 Academic Math with a minimum of 65%; Aptitude Test and Faculty interview
Primary Care Paramedic/PCP IFLT 19 years of age prior to commencement of practicum; Bilingualism will be considered as an asset
Veterinary Technician Grade 11 or 12 Academic Math with a minimum of 65%; Grade 11 or 12 Chemistry and/or Physics is considered as an asset
Policing and Corrections Foundations 18 years of age prior to commencement of Practicum; Valid Driver’s License; Photocopy of Birth Certificate or Proof of Canadian Citizenship

Overview

Good reputation. Oulton was well known in my family for once reason or another so that's why I went with it. I also loved the staff there as well. They were pretty good in my opinion. I think it was a pretty good choice though I don't work in the IT field
