- Develop business processes to achieve organizational goals.
- Integrate appropriate technologies for analysis and development of business processes.
- Create sound business arguments, using financial and cost analysis to justify any process change.
- Use SAP enterprise resource planning software (Sheridan is a member of the SAP University Alliances program).
Innovative learning:
- Case Studies: allow you to explore practical situations in a structured learning environment.
- Industry Project: As part of a small consulting team, you'll tackle a real business problem with a client company.
- Co-op: At the end of the academic portion of the program, you may apply to participate in a work term to gain further hands-on experience.
- Students in this program may apply to the Co-op program during their first academic semester.
- Enrolment in the Co-op program is limited through an additional Co-op application process that takes place in the first semester.
- Students in the Co-op program are eligible to complete a Co-op work term during the 4-month term following the second semester.
- All new international students beginning their full-time postsecondary studies (ESL and programs with tuition reduction excluded) in Spring 2023, Fall 2023 or Winter 2024 semesters in Year 1 (Semester 1) will receive an entrance scholarship ranging from $500 to $2,000.

- Develop business models that support a company's strategic objectives.
- Articulate the interdependence between financial and operational metrics used in value chain analysis to key decision makers.
- Appraise the impact on financial and operational performance of specific business processes/models.
- Evaluate the opportunities for business process and supply chain improvement based on current best practices across industries, as well as new breakthrough thinking.
- Analyze the key business processes that drive the value chain of an organization throughout the entire product life cycle.
- Articulate the impact of proposed changes to all major stakeholders and levels of the organization.
- Evaluate current global business issues and their impact on various enterprises.
- Identify the steps required to manage change in a practical and achievable fashion.
- Interact effectively and professionally, using influencing, communication and consultative skills across all levels and functions of businesses, in a customer-centric and ethical manner.
- Integrate appropriate information and other technologies, both existing and emerging, in developing business processes and business models.
- Deliver a project in a timely manner using project management tools and techniques.
- Work effectively on team projects and research assignments respecting the diversity to all team members.
